I'm Lieutenant Colonel Robert
Niepert. I
command the 3rd
Battalion 5th
Florida
(infantry, artillery and cavalry) of Hardy's Brigade here in the state
of Florida. My Battalion portrays Confederate soldiers on
Saturday and Federals on Sunday. I write the Florida Reenactors
Online News Magazine and the yearly Event Schedule for reenactments in
Florida. If you have the opportunity to attend a Civil War
reenactment or Living History event, please take a few minutes to look
me up and say hello. I will be in the Confederate cavalry camp
with my horse "PJ".

 Rambler (American Saddlebred) He was my first reenacting horse. He retired from the hobby in 2000 and now enjoys his days in the pasture. |
