Union Websites
1st US Artillery Battery A--is a Federal unit attached to the 4th Brigade that reenacts through the state of Florida.  The unit is family friendly and camp modern but modern camping is not required.  The unit is equipped with a 12 pound Mountain Howitzer and a Cohorn Mortar, along with a small rifle squad and medical personnel.
3rd Maine Company F--Union Infantry Company.  This site features items such as a photo gallery, company information and a gentleman's etiquette page.
3rd Rhode Island Artillery--Central Florida based Union Artillery company with members scattered around the state.  Attached to the 75th OVI.
3rd US Artillery Battery E--Union Artillery Company.  This site has lots of information ranging from the chain of command to servicing the piece.
4th Brigade District of Florida--a nonprofit American Civil War reenacting organization, which strives to accurately portray living history during the time of the American Civil War. The 4th Brigade membership is composed of Federal units throughout the State of Florida.
7th Connecticut Volunteers--The 7th Conn. is a living history group based in Central Florida.  They are organized and operated for the purposes of educating the general public concerning the role and heritage of the Union soldiers who fought in the Civil War.
8th United States Colored Troops (USCT), Co. B.--The 8th USCT, Co. B. is a Tampa Bay/Pinellas County volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and portrayal of African-American history and heritage during the civil war.  Over 180,000 African-Americans joined the Union Military, many serving in the Florida Theatre of Military Operations.
12th New Jersey, Company F.--This group is a family oriented unit.  They are located Florida and portray a Federal Infantry company.
14th Brooklyn Company G--There is an urgent need for loyal Union men, of good character, to join the valiant Red Legged Devils of Company G. Fourteenth Brooklyn, New York State Militia.
17th Connecticut, Company H--is a Federal company based in Brooksville Florida.  The group is family friendly and encourages the participation of wives and kids
20th Maine Volunteer Infantry, Company B--The 20th Maine is a reenactors group made up of men and women from eastern, central and southern Maine.  They strive to be as authentic as possible in their impression with not only enjoyable activities but educational ones too.  Women and children are welcome to participate in different roles.
25th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company E--Union Infantry site with links and pages about company information, events and history.
47th New York Volunteer Infantry, Company K--A Federal reenacting unit based in Central Florida.
48th New York Company D--This Florida based unit is dedicated to honoring the memory of, and perpetuating the sacrifices of the original 48th New York State Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
64th Illinois, Yates Sharpshooters, Company A--This unit is an authentic minded family organization.  You may participate as a soldier or civilian.
75th Ohio Volunteer Infantry--The 75th has been a reenacting group for over twelve years and still continues to grow every season.  Our company is a family oriented organization and promotes knowledge of the Civil War and the history of the 75th.  As soldiers, we work hard at the School of the Soldier and strive for excellence whenever we take to the field of battle.
76th NY Volunteer Infantry, Company H--Union company in New York.  This site has some interesting photos of out of state events.  These guys seem to have a good time reenacting.
76th New York State Volunteers--the "Cortland Regiment".  This site contains a lot of information about the 76th NY Volunteers in addition to new and old articles, a regimental roster and artifacts.
97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry--The 97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company A, is a Pinellas Park/Largo volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and portrayal of Civil War history and heritage. We attend several Civil War re-enactments, living history demonstrations, and drills throughout Florida and the Southeast.
107th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry--Union Infantry based in Northeast Florida.  OVI information and links to other Federal sites.
112th New York Volunteer Infantry--The history of the 112th New York Volunteer Infantry.
115th New York Infantry, Company A--The 115th New York (the Iron Hearted Regiment) site tells you about the south Florida based reenactment company.  The 115th is also part of the Southeast Federals organization.  They have a unit history of the 115th, a message board, links, unit contacts and more.
125th Ohio Volunteer Infantry--The 125th OVI is a Federal reenacting unit ranging from North-Georgia to East Tennessee and the Carolinas.  Their impression includes a Field Musicians unit.  They do both campaign and garrison oriented events and encourage their spouses and family members to participate.
Bohemian Brigade--Their impression is dedicated the Artist/Reporter Correspondents of the infamous Bohemian Brigade who were eye witnesses to the American Civil War.  This is an interesting site with lots of information about early war reporters and the modern reenactors who portray them.  Site includes how to get started and what you will need.
Hampton's Battery Co. F. "The Pittsburg Battery"--Hampton's Battery is a Federal Artillery unit based in Spring Mills, PA.  Their company participates in Civil War reenactments and living history events.  The battery is a family oriented unit so all are welcome.  They have two cannons in their battery.  The Hampton Battery website is well done with plenty of photos and information.
Keystone Regiment--This unit is an independent American Civil War reenactment and living history group (family oriented) based in Blair County Pennsylvania.  They represent a Union Infantry Company and Artillery battery raised in that county.  In addition they have a Union Army Signal Corps, a Hospital scenario, an active Chaplain, some Confederate soldiers and Civilians.
Liberty Rifles--Liberty Rifles is a living history organization that portrays the homefront civilians and common fighting men of the Civil War - both North and South - to preserve their honored place in American history.
Signal Corps Association--Reenactors portray Signal Corps men.  Lots of communication history is presented on this site.  Everything from hot air balloons to telegraph and much more.
US Marine Guard--The U.S. Marine Guard Steam Sloop of War USS Pawnee is a U.S. Marine unit constituted by reenactors from all reaches of Florida.  We work to excel in Civil War Marine duties.  We train and crew on actual large naval artillery, conduct amphibious landings, stand watches on board ship, train and man light field artillery, and conduct amphibious raids on Florida Salt Works.  We are a family unit.  We frequently reenact and train with the USS Fort Henry, CS Marines of the CSS Tallahassee, and the National Civil War Naval Museum in Columbus Georgia.  We hosted our first reenactment in April 2011 "The Saint Andrews Salt Works Raid" in Panama City Florida.  We are also looking for a few good sailors as well.
Union Enlist USS Fort Henry--Located in West-Central Florida portraying Civil War era sailors and marines, it is based on the original U.S.S. Fort Henry (the "Terror of the Gulf") which served off Florida's North Suncoast.  We represent an expeditionary force with the Federal 4th Brigade, Florida. We participate in Reenactments, Living Histories, Memorial Services, and Historical Presentations to Schools and Groups.  We are a not for profit unit with the Navy and Marine Living History Association.
USS Ottawa--A Union Navy Civil War Re-enactors Unit based in Pinellas County, Florida.  Began in 1990, the men and women of the USS Ottawa recreate the authentic costumes, battles tactics and weapons of the United States Civil War.  The United States Navy, known at the time as the Union Navy, participated in many important naval battles along the coasts, and rivers of the United States as well as on the oceans.
