Federal unit attached to the 4th Brigade that reenacts through the
state of Florida. The unit is family friendly and camp modern but
modern camping is not required. The unit is equipped with a
12 pound Mountain Howitzer and a Cohorn Mortar, along with a small
rifle squad and medical personnel. |

B. is a Tampa Bay/Pinellas County volunteer organization dedicated to
the
preservation and portrayal of African-American history and heritage
during
the civil war. Over 180,000 African-Americans joined the Union
Military,
many serving in the Florida Theatre of Military Operations. |

Brigade--Their impression is
dedicated the Artist/Reporter
Correspondents of the infamous Bohemian Brigade who were eye witnesses
to the American Civil War. This is an interesting site with lots

Battery Co. F.
"The Pittsburg Battery"--Hampton's Battery is a Federal Artillery unit
based in Spring Mills, PA. Their company participates in Civil
War reenactments and living history events. The battery is a
family oriented unit so all are welcome. They have two cannons in
their battery. The Hampton Battery website is well done with

Keystone
Regiment--This unit is an
independent American Civil War
reenactment and living history group (family oriented) based in Blair
County Pennsylvania. They represent a Union Infantry Company and
Artillery battery raised in that county. In addition they have a
Union Army Signal Corps, a Hospital scenario, an active Chaplain, some
Confederate soldiers and Civilians. |

Rifles--Liberty Rifles is a
living history organization that
portrays the homefront civilians and common fighting men of the Civil
War - both North and South - to preserve their honored place in
American history. |

Signal Corps Association--Reenactors portray Signal
Corps men. Lots of communication history is presented on this

Marine Guard--The U.S. Marine Guard Steam Sloop of War USS Pawnee is
a U.S. Marine unit constituted by reenactors from all reaches of
Florida. We work to excel in Civil War Marine duties.
We train and crew on actual large naval artillery, conduct amphibious
landings, stand watches on board ship, train and man light field
artillery, and conduct amphibious raids on Florida Salt
Works. We are a family unit. We frequently reenact and
train with the USS Fort Henry, CS Marines of the CSS Tallahassee, and
the National Civil War Naval Museum in Columbus Georgia. We
hosted our first reenactment in April 2011 "The Saint Andrews Salt
Works Raid" in Panama City Florida. We are also looking for a few
good sailors as well. |

USS Fort Henry--Located
in West-Central Florida portraying Civil War era sailors and marines,
it is based on the original U.S.S. Fort Henry (the "Terror of the
Gulf") which served off Florida's North Suncoast. We
represent an expeditionary force with the Federal 4th Brigade,
Florida. We participate in Reenactments, Living Histories, Memorial
Services, and Historical Presentations to Schools and Groups. We
are a not for profit unit with the Navy and Marine Living History
Association. |

USS Ottawa--A Union Navy Civil War Re-enactors Unit based in
Pinellas County, Florida. Began in 1990, the men and women of the
USS Ottawa recreate the authentic costumes, battles tactics and weapons
of the United States Civil War. The United States Navy, known at
the time as the Union Navy, participated in many important naval
battles along the coasts, and rivers of the United States as well as on
the oceans. |
