Corn Clam Chowder

1 lb bacon
1 - large onion
2 - med potatoes
2 - 14oz cans Whole Kernel Corn
2 - 145oz cans Cream Style corn
2 - 14oz can Chicken Broth
2 - quarts water
2 - cans diced clams and juice
1 - cup milk or 1/3 milk powder
Salt and Pepper
Tabasco(optional)

Dice Bacon into 1 inch pieces and brown to desired crispness.  Add Onion and sweat until clear along with potatoes.  Add the corn and broth.  Allow to cook until potatoes are done and then add clams and juice.  Add the milk and salt and pepper to taste.  Allow to thicken.  If needed, thicken with mashed potato flakes.  Makes about three gallons.
