Good Food......Sgt. Denny Rosenow has decided to share another one of his cooking secrets with us.  He calls this one Pigs Ass Chili.  I'm not to sure about this one.  If it has anything to do with a pigs ass, I know I won't be eating it.

Pigs Ass Chili
1lb Cubed Pork
1/2 Onion
4oz. Can diced green chilies
1/2 Cup cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon flour
Small can of tomatoes
Garlic salt and pepper to taste
1/3 cup water

Brown meat in skillet. Add onion, brown slightly.
Add flour and brown.
Add water, green chilies and spices
Spread cheese over top, let melt and serve.
This goes good with fresh baked bread.  Buy those frozen loafs from Bridgeford and following the directions bake in your dutch oven.  You also need lots of butter.

I ran across a great bargain at the Sam's store in Ocala.  For $35.00 they have a cast iron set that includes a 12 inch dutch oven with the lid stand and lid lifter.  An eight and ten inch skillets and a griddle all in zippered bags to keep the black soot from getting on everything.  It all comes in a wood box with rope handles.  This is a good deal, trust me.

That's all for this time, take care and let me know of any special recipes that you have and would like to share.  You may contact me, Sgt. Denny Rosenow,  at campfirecook1@juno.com
